What is the Calm Crow Fall Healing Show?
The Calm Crow Fall Healing Show is a one-day, all-inclusive healing retreat held on a working farm in Boonsboro, Maryland. Each guest receives three private 25-minute sessions with licensed and certified practitioners, plus group ear seeding, a take-home tincture workshop, equine-assisted healing, a cacao ceremony, a sound bath, lunch, and a closing fire ceremony.

Everything. There are no add-ons or upsells.

- Tincture-making workshop — You take your 1 oz herbal tincture home.
- Equine & donkey healing session — On foot in the paddock. No riding.
- Gluten-free lunch — With refreshing drinks, plus tea and snacks all day.
- Sound bath — In the tipi at golden hour.
- Fire releasing ceremony — At dusk.
- Rest time — Hammocks and open space on the land.

You’ll receive your personal schedule card at check-in with your three private sessions already booked, three group experiences, and three open blocks to rest, walk, or sit with the animals.
Who are the practitioners?
The day is held by a licensed massage therapist, a Thai bodywork practitioner, a craniosacral therapist, a reflexologist, a Reiki Master, two Healing Touch certified practitioners, a tarot reader, and an herbalist leading the tincture workshop. Your host at A Calm Crow leads ear seeding, equine healing, and the sound bath.
Who is this retreat for?
Anyone who wants a full day to slow down: people carrying stress or grief, caregivers, anyone curious about bodywork or energy healing, and those who love being around animals and open land. No experience with any modality is needed. All sessions are clothed; bodywork is adapted to your comfort.
Where is A Calm Crow Farm?
A Calm Crow Farm is at 8246 Deb Lane, Boonsboro, MD 21713, about 30 minutes from Frederick, 25 minutes from Hagerstown, and roughly an hour and twenty minutes from Washington, DC. Free parking on site. The farm is fully outdoors with a tipi and paddocks; wear layers and closed-toe shoes.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if it rains on October 3?
The retreat is held entirely outdoors, so if rain is forecast the whole event moves to the rain date, Saturday, October 31, 2026, same hours and same schedule. Your ticket carries over automatically. Ticket holders are notified by 6 PM on October 2.
Is the retreat refundable?
Tickets are transferable to another person at any time. Refunds are available until September 19, 2026; after that, tickets may be transferred or credited toward a future Calm Crow event.
Do I need to choose my sessions in advance?
Yes. After purchase you'll rank your top five private modalities and we'll book three for you, balancing everyone's preferences. You'll see your schedule at check-in.
What should I bring?
A water bottle, layers, a journal, closed-toe shoes for the paddock, and anything you'd like to hold during the cacao ceremony. Yoga mats, blankets, and cushions are provided.
Is lunch really gluten-free?
Yes. The entire menu is gluten-free with a protein and a plant-based option and mostly dairy-free. Tell us about allergies when you book.
Can I attend if I'm pregnant or have a medical condition?
Most sessions can be adapted. Tell us when you book so we can match you with appropriate modalities; consult your doctor about cacao and bodywork if unsure.
Are the horses and donkeys safe to be around?
Yes. Equine sessions are grounded, on-foot, and led by the host in a fenced paddock. No riding. Animals are calm, but please follow instructions and keep small bags zipped.
